What began as a marriage proposal in Puerto Rico eventually brought me and my assistant Alejandra all the way to Lake Como, Italy, where I had the incredible opportunity to photograph Miguel and Mónica’s dream elopement at Villa del Balbianello. From their first look and private boat ride to editorial portraits, Bellagio, Aperol Spritzes and golden-hour photographs overlooking Lake Como, this became far more than a destination wedding—it became a dream come true.
