A Visual Love Letter to Bridal Fashion and Pageantry in Puerto Rico

At White House Bridal, we pride ourselves on curating not just dresses—but dreams. As the in-house photographer, I have the unique privilege of capturing the magical moment a bride finds the one—her perfect wedding gown. Recently, we elevated that magic by collaborating with two of Puerto Rico’s most breathtaking beauty queens: Natalia M. Colón, representative for Miss Universe Cataño 2018, and Mía Sofía Medina, the reigning Miss Teen Universe Puerto Rico.

Queen

These women are not only pageant royalty—they’re professionals who bring poise, elegance, and fierce confidence to every frame. Their presence allowed us to bridge the art of wedding photography and high-fashion model photography in a way that celebrates the individuality of every bride and aspiring model in Puerto Rico.

Where Wedding Photography Meets Editorial Fashion

Showstopper

Photographing brides and photographing models might seem like two different worlds—but in truth, they often meet at a beautiful intersection. A confident pose, the right lighting, and an eye for detail are just as important in wedding photography as they are in fashion editorial shoots. Working with pageant queens like Natalia and Mía reminded me that every bride has that inner queen—waiting to shine in front of the camera.

Class

When brides come to White House Bridal, we want them to feel like stars. That’s why we treat every in-store session, every styled shoot, and every wedding day like a fashion campaign—with all the heart, authenticity, and emotion that comes with real love stories.
