Finding the perfect spot to hang her dress was a challenge—especially with a pool nearby that threatened a splashy disaster—but I eventually found a lovely outdoor wall that set the scene just right.

     Deliann’s bridal preparations were full of quiet beauty. I experimented with creative compositions, photographing her through her bridal shoes and using a nearby mirror for dreamy reflections. Her sister, who doubled as the hair and makeup artist, provided a warm and familiar environment, and her son joined in for a touching embrace that made for one of my favorite portraits of the day.

     Before wrapping up at her home, I discovered a striking wooden slat wall with vertical lighting strips—ideal for creating moody, editorial-style portraits that have become a signature part of my brand as a luxury wedding photographer in Puerto Rico.

     Carola had already made her way to the reception hall to photograph the décor before guests arrived.
